Self-priming pumps are favored by many customers in the market due to their multifunctionality, ease of operation, high suction and head, and large flow rate. So, what is the working principle of a self-priming pump?
The self-priming pump consists of a motor, shaft core, foot seat, rear shaft seal, rear cover, sealing ring, front shaft seal, impeller, sealing ring, impeller nut, middle cover, one-way valve, pump body, sealing ring, drain nut, self-priming drum gasket, and self-priming drum, which are easy to disassemble and replace.
The principle of a self-priming pump is that the self-priming pump generates suction by driving the impeller to rotate through the rotation of the motor. Since there is no water entering the motor of the rear and front shaft seals, there is no need to worry about liquid entering the motor and causing the self-priming function to be lost. The liquid enters the pump body through the suction force brought by the rotation of the impeller. Because the liquid entering the inlet is only discharged through one outlet, the liquid sucked in by the rotation of the impeller can only be discharged through the outlet, thus completing the self-priming function, which is the working principle of a self-priming pump.
